"I'm known for my shooting style of 'making the strange familiar, and the familiar strange.' Thus, when I was approached for this project, I was surprised that there's a demand here in Malaysia for weddings being done documentary-style. I have covered numerous documentaries from natural disasters, the plight of African orphans, children in the Culcuttan brothels, child births, and weddings abroad... and to see that the idea is catching to local shores helmed by the Berjaya Hotels & Resorts team made my day. Seeing the bewilderment of both Kelvin and Kimberly trying their wedding gowns, shoes, selecting their stationaries for wedding invites and such, to even boarding the plane and seeing the wedding coming to fruition in their eyes makes this project a definite must-do when I came back to Malaysia. Congratulations to both Kelvin and Kimberly once again, and a big thumbs up for the Berjaya Hotels and Resorts team for coming up with such a marvelous project and believing in making the familiar strange!"
